2012 Farmers Market

The Farmers Market is a summer destination not to be missed! It’s truly a feast for the senses! See, smell, and taste an abundance of locally grown fruits and vegetables, flowers and plants as well as handcrafted baked goods and other scrumptious treats. Experience the high energy, vibrant colors and fresh flavors that only come straight from the farm.  A grower's only market is featured during the festival at its special location next to the Walter E. Sundquist Pavilion by Starbucks.

2012 Founders Festival 4 Mile Run

Presented by


On Saturday morning, nearly 300 runners will take off from Shiawassee Park for a 4 mile race to the finish through Farmington and the festival parade route. The 4 Mile Run is organized by Farmington Hills Recreation with the help of New Balance of Farmington Hills. Partial proceeds go to the Michigan Running Foundation as well as Farmington Hills Recreation.

To register to run, download the entry form and send it to Farmington Hills Recreation Division along with registration fees.

2012 Farmington Masonic Lodge Masons at Shiawassee Park Pavilion

(SW Corner Of Power Rd. & Shiawassee Rd. -- Entrance On Power Rd.)

 

The Michigan Masonic Child ID Program provides the family with everything needed for the Amber Alert System and is considered one of the most comprehensive programs of the kind by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.  Each child that goes through the process will receive a dental impression as well as a CD containing a photo, video, digital fingerprints and other vital information.

2012 Pies on the Grand Fundraiser

Located in front of Judge Asset Management (33212 Grand River Ave)

Farmington Hills Senior Division will sell blueberry pies and oatmeal blueberry cookies that are made fresh from scratch by Senior Division staff and volunteers at the Costick Center

Presented by the City of Farmington Hills Senior Division.  Proceeds from this annual Pies on the Grand Fundraiser benefits the transportation services.
