LaFontaine Subaru presents Farmington Fido Festival will be taking place July 19-21, 2019 in Shiawassee Park during the Farmington Founders Festival!! There will be hours of entertainment, including the Thornton & Grooms Ultimate Air Dogs and Rock N Roll K9”Æs Performance Team!

Your dog can test their skills on the Lucky Dog Lure Coursing or participate in the Disc Dogs of Michigan frisbee competition. There will be a vendor village showcasing dog wearables, homemade dog treats, unique dog toys and dishes and samples of dog food and treats. There will also be rescues on site looking to place pets in their forever homes. The event will feature a variety of craft beers, Tito”Æs Handmade Vodka and live music will be available the ”°Bark Garden”±. Pet related vendors will be on site showcasing their products and services. Plus you can win awesome prizes from our sponsors in the contests throughout the weekend.

Your dog doesn’t have to be a Pro Jumper to get in on this fun sporting event. sporting event. From the smallest jumper to the biggest Ultimate high flyer, all dogs are encourage to participate as long as they can swim. Try outs are in between competitions.

Come watch an entourage of incredibly talented high flying canines at the Disc Dogs of Michigan Updog Challenge, a new exciting dog sports organization that is great for all skill levels for disc and agility. ROCK N’ ROLL K9’s
The Rock-N-Roll K-9’s provide good family fun entertainment with their awesome K-9’s, while grooving to rock and roll music. The shows will include tricks, relay racing, limbo, choreographed obedience routines, agility, Scooby says, musical mats and much more. You will see a variety of breeds in every color, shape, size and age, as well as the great All American Mix. These skilled athletes and their trainers work close together as a team and with everyone doing their utmost to make the Rock-N-Roll K-9 shows unforgettable.

LURE COURSING
Many dogs love the thrill of the chase! Lucky Dogs Lure Coursing will be on-site all weekend. The object to the game is to catch the lure! Bring your pup to join in on the fun. No pre-registration required. Walk up and run!

ADOPTION ALLEY

Several local animal rescues will be on-site with pets looking for their forever homes. Each rescue has their own adoption process. Applications will be accepted on site.

CONTESTS

Dogs can participate in one of many contests throughout the weekend to win prizes. Times and contests to be announced at a later date.
